O futuro da farmácia com o uso da farmacogenômica

Abstract

The Pharmacy is an establishment that originated in the 10th century and has been developing ever since. Today, with all the technology that exists, it is possible to associate genetics with medicines and obtain better results with fewer adverse reactions. The objective of this work is to make an integrative bibliographic review about the Future of Pharmacy and the use of Pharmacogenomics in the drug treatment of patients. Where it had as methodology the a bibliographic survey will be made based on the experience of other authors in the research carried out by them in an integrative review. Results were obtained that underscore the importance of Pharmacogenomics is a very promising technology for drug treatment and drug development, but there is still a lot to be researched to be applied constantly, as can be demonstrated by its advantages and disadvantages. So, justifying that with the use of with the use of Pharmacogenomics in the treatment of patients, there will be more effective and safe results, improving patient adherence to treatment, in addition to contributing a lot in the development of new drugs by decreasing the research time, predicting the ineffectiveness of the researched medicine soon at first.
