Uso de metodologia ativa como instrumento na prevenção de infecção hospitalar

Abstract

INTRODUCTION: The practical and theoretical knowledge are constantly changing and updating over time, thus becoming necessary educational interventions through active methodology aimed at learning close to their reality. OBJECTIVES: To evaluate through a literature review the effectiveness of the use of active methodologies (MA) in the process of behavior change of health professionals to prevent and control infections. METHODOLOGY: This is a narrative review of the literature. RESULTS: The findings showed that the active methodology is effective in controlling nosocomial infection, and one of the methods used is the Maguerez Arc proposal, which helps in the development of skills that can observe reality and identify solutions to each problem. But there is a difficulty in addressing it, because it is something innovative and little study, needs a greater approach, which encourages the team to deal with reality and solve everyday problems. CONCLUSION: The importance of the process of academic education of health professionals is important for them to be able to develop technical skills, critical thinking and behavior change committed to the prevention and control of nosocomial infections.
