A relevância do docente na formação do enfermeiro

Abstract

Education is now seen as an instrument responsible for the modification of the human being in his way of thinking and acting. Faced with this, the teacher, as an educator, is seen as responsible for the formation of the social being and the identity of the individual. Continuing education means that professionals seek characteristic and scientific knowledge so that any existing theoretical dimension can be technically conducive to the benefit of quality assistance and the training of future promising professionals. The general objective of this study is to understand the relevance of the teacher in the training of nurses, as well as to verify the values attributed by nurses to the role of educator and teacher of the nursing professional. This work consists of an exploratory and descriptive study, carried out through a literature review. The labor market expects that the nurse, be it from the hospital or educational area, In the light of the above, it is concluded that the quality of teaching is directly linked to the preparation of the teacher, who will have to acquire training in order to work with the students.
