Through notifications of Adverse Reaction to Medicines (MRs), Anvisa and the other responsible bodies have control over the action of medicines in the population, which can be changed in terms of formulation, package inserts, can be withdrawn from the market or restricted to some specific population group. The objective of this study was to evaluate the pharmacists' knowledge about pharmacovigilance with regard to the reports of adverse reactions in drugstores in the municipalities of Adelândia; Anicuns and Itauçu-Go. A descriptive study of data was performed using absolute and relative frequency measurements. The research was carried out with 25 pharmacists who work in these drugstores. In view of the research results, it was found that most pharmacists have little knowledge about VigMed and its role in pharmacovigilance; is not in the habit of notifying, not observing law No. 13.021 / 14 which requires pharmacists to notify. Future studies should be done on the importance of notification in drugstores. Thus, it is necessary to provide incentives on the part of the responsible health agencies to notify themselves and to encourage the population that even though the pharmacist cannot change a prescription, he can help by notifying an adverse reaction that is still unknown.pt_BR
