A importância da informação sobre o papiloma vírus humano (hpv) para adolescentes no período escolar

Abstract

The objective of this study was to discuss the importance of HPV information for adolescents during the school period. On the other hand, HPV, the importance of the vaccine, prevention and the importance of the study on sexually transmitted diseases were explained. The origin of the present study came from the problematic: The information of the HPV inside the schools could diminish the number of adolescents infected by HPV. Since it is in adolescence that the young person presents a greater vulnerability to the infection. It has resulted in an in-depth understanding of the importance of information to adolescents within the school environment about virus-related factors, as well as discussing symptoms, transmission, and prevention of this disease. In this sense, a bibliographic survey was carried out, based on material already published, consisting of books, articles and material made available on the Internet, in databases on the subject. Conclusion, the importance of a great investment in the education of young people to promote their health and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, in particular HPV, on safety and risks, and the importance of the use of condoms, especially among adolescents.
