dc.description.abstractINTRODUCTION: Obtaining a natural result in the esthetic area of peri-implant tissue is a challenge for dentists. Gingival graft is a procedure that can solve aesthetic problems at different stages of treatment. OBJECTIVES: To present types of gingival graft treatment in esthetic areas on implants, helping the study and practice of dentists. METHODOLOGY: The following study is exploratory and descriptive, carried out through a literature review research. In searches performed on the PubMed data platform, the following keywords were used: soft tissues, esthetics and implant. RESULTS: The expectation of this study is to assist dentists in choosing an efficient treatment, through an evaluation, diagnosis and adequate planning in cases of gingival graft in the esthetic area of implant. CONCLUSION: Research shows that the use of soft tissue connective grafts in peri-implant plastic surgery favors the reconstruction of gingival health and aesthetics, considering the thickness of the mucosa and the width of the keratinized tissue to be important.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoINTRODUÇÃO: Obter um resultado natural na área estética de tecido peri-implantar é um desafio para os cirurgiões-dentistas. O enxerto gengival é um procedimento que pode resolver problemas estéticos em diferentes etapas do tratamento. OBJETIVOS: Apresentar tipos de tratamento de enxerto gengival em áreas estéticas sobre implante auxiliando o estudo e a prática dos cirurgiões-dentistas. METODOLOGIA: O seguinte estudo é exploratório e descritivo, realizado através de uma pesquisa de revisão de literatura. Nas buscas executadas na plataforma de dados PubMed foram empregues as seguintes palavras chaves: tecidos moles, estética e implante. RESULTADOS: A expectativa deste estudo é auxiliar os cirurgiões-dentistas na escolha de um tratamento eficiente, através de uma avaliação, diagnostico e planejamento adequado em casos de enxerto gengival em área estética de implante. CONCLUSÃO: As pesquisas mostram que o uso de enxerto conjuntivo de tecidos moles em cirurgias plásticas peri-implantar favorecem na reconstrução da saúde e estética gengival, considerando importante a espessura da mucosa e a largura do tecido queratinizado.pt_BR
