N: Gardner's syndrome, autosomal dominant, is a variant (APC) Adenomatous polyposis coli that affects chromosome 5q21. It is considered a Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, affecting men and women equally. It is characterized by intestinal and extraintestinal manifestations. Intestinal manifestations occur due to the multiple growth of the colon, known as polyps, which have a high potential for malignancy, these lesions are controlled by the gastroenterologist, while extraintestinal manifestations can occur both in soft tissue and in bone tissue, such as supernumerary teeth, osteomas, cysts , lipomas, fibromatosis, odontomas, bone and soft tissue tumors, where the diagnosis and control of these changes is given by the follow-up of the dentist, radiologist and head and neck surgeon, maxillofacial. OBJECTIVES: The objective of this work, through a literature review, is to approach the importance of symptoms, diagnosis and the dentist in the treatment of Gardner's Syndrome. METHODOLOGY: The applied methodology is part of a literary review, aligned with bibliographical research and jurisprudence of a qualitative and descriptive character. CONCLUSIONS: The thorough and detailed examination will show that these facts are not rare and mandatory, therefore, as soon as possible to take the patient to the dentist, the diagnosis can be made and treated, starting the treatment with a multidisciplinary team, or that is, a joint action will lead to a successful treatment, not causing changes in other parts of the body.pt_BR
