N: Atraumatic extraction is a technique that has been used in order to minimize patient discomfort, as it preserves adjacent tissues, thus avoiding unnecessary trauma and lacerations. The preservation of soft tissues and hard tissues of the oral cavity is a great option in the immediate rehabilitation and installation of dental implants, as it can contribute positively by easing post-surgical discomfort, ensuring a shorter tissue repair time during treatment and better cost benefit to the patient. OBJECTIVES: Clinical case of a 22-year-old female patient, who attended the clinic reporting discomfort in the region of tooth 46. METHODOLOGY: Computed tomography of the region of tooth 46 was performed and a coronary crack was observed longitudinal oblique in the mesio-distal direction extending to the cervical third, lingual of the mesial root, and atraumatic extraction with immediate implant installation and rehabilitation of the patient was planned. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: The results of this study may contribute in a relevant way to dental surgeons who want to plan the rehabilitation of their patients indicating atraumatic extraction and immediate implant installation, since cases of this type directly affect the patient's masticatory, aesthetic and phonetic function.pt_BR
