Prótese total sobre implantes em maxila fixa ou removível? Qual indicar? – revisão de literatura

Abstract

The technological advances had provided a bigger life expectancy for the aged ones promoting a bigger number of searches for verbal whitewashing. The verbal whitewashing with osseointegrados implantations if became the third dentition due to its index of satisfaction in the modern odontologia, guaranteeing a bigger comfort, instability and security to the patient. The próteses Overdenture type are classified as próteses removable and total, them it needs few installed implantations, are fixed in bars and clips installed in the arches of the patient, it possesss a good hygienic cleaning for the fact of being removable. The proteses type protocol are próteses fixed totals indicated for people who had lost great part or all the teeth, installed on 4, 5 or 6 bolts of implantations, guaranteeing an ideal comfort and security for the patient. The clinical prognostic favorable to prótese on implantations in makes possible them to carry through this work, with intention to promote the revision of literature for which indication of procedure to adopt.
